:: with ingredients known to support: pleasure, the heart chakra, gentle stimulation, mineralization, a return to love ::
The most decadent, indulgent treat, this creation is a special and limited-release collaboration by Kismet Cacao and Belly of the Sun. Combining ghee that is handcrafted from cultured, pasture-raised butter with the rich flavor of heirloom, sun-dried and wild cacao, this well-balanced blend highlights how delicious healthy fats and impeccable sourcing can be. Cacao, which has a long history as a ceremonial and ritual food in Mesoamerica, has the capacity to bring us into our heart centers and a state of more present awareness, acting as both a gentle stimulant (energy/focus) and promoter of physical relaxation. Cacao is also known as a mood-enhancer that connects us to our experience of pleasure for many reasons, including its anandamide content (the “bliss molecule”), PEA, and its ability to increase serotonin levels. It’s also an abundant source of minerals, only enhanced by real salt. Vanilla is a powerful ally for embodiment, with an affinity for the root and sacral chakras. As a nervine and aphrodisiac, vanilla can assist us with relaxing into receiving the medicine that bliss offers. Raw local honey harvested through responsible beekeeping practices in Nevada County can support immunity and is rich in antioxidants that are protective to our cells.
With a flavor profile that is rich, chocolatey and earthy (perfectly balanced with a sweet dose of honey), try it as the base for your hot drinking chocolate, on toast, blended into your coffee, as frosting, or simply enjoy by the spoon!
Shelf life: consume within 3 months of opening and store in a cool, dark area; refrigeration is not necessary but does extend the expiration date by 3 months!
Warning: Consult with a healthcare provider prior to use if pregnant or lactating. Honey should not be given to babies under one year old.
Allergen information: Contains dairy. However, the traditional process of making ghee (extra clarified butter) entails heating butter so that the milk solids (lactose + casein) are not just separated, but caramelized and removed. Many people who are otherwise dairy-free find solace in ghee.
